Annual User Survey!

Where is the summer going? Surprisingly, it’s that time of year AGAIN! We are asking for your feedback on all of our League InfoSight products, including ComplySight. Please take a few minutes to answer our 2018 League InfoSight User Survey so we are better able to assist you by prioritizing product development and determining what additional products and services would be most impactful based on your needs! Thank you!

S.2155 ComplySight Changes?

Even though we have some regulatory relief coming with the passage of S.2155, the Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief, and Consumer Protection Act, we also have some ambiguity while we wait for the corresponding, implementing regulations to be updated! Please keep in mind that because we aren’t exactly sure how some of these provisions will be interpreted into Regulation, we will be waiting to update ComplySight to ensure we are providing credit unions with appropriate guidance. However, we do anticipate changes related to HMDA, Qualified Mortgages, Real Estate Appraisals, Integrated Mortgage Disclosures, and Elder/Vulnerable Adult Abuse.

The NCUA was quick to amend their regulation related to the changes to member business loans as a result of S.2155. As you probably noticed, on June 4th ComplySight sent out a Content Update Notification that amended our existing content that now excludes from the definition of a member business loan (and subject to the aggregate MBL lending cap) an extension of credit fully secured by a lien on a 1- to 4-family dwelling (regardless of borrower’s occupancy status).

Stay tuned for more changes and please let us know if you have any questions.

ComplySight System  Enhancements

ComplySight System Enhancements

We’ve recently released a few updates and enhancements that we hope will make your ComplySight user experience even better!

Enhanced Security

While the ComplySight system and the data contained within it has always been secured, we have added an additional layer of encryption security within multiple areas of ComplySight. This will ensure that the information in the system, including any files uploaded, are as secure as possible from any type of data breach attempts.

Search within File Manager

We have added a search function within File Manager:
Search Documents Button

The search allows you to search by one of two new options for key words: “starts with” or “contains.” After searching, users can View the file that is downloaded, or click on the Document’s path to open the folder where the file resides. We hope this enhancement will make it easier than ever to manage your files!

Menu Navigation and On-Screen Verbiage Consistency

You may have noticed some slight changes to the navigation menu and/or to the on-screen verbiage. We have updated some of the text throughout the site to better reflect the functions being performed on those screens and to make navigation as simple as possible. We have also added some additional on-screen instructions in certain areas to provide better direction to users. Probably the biggest change users will notice is for users logged in as L2, L2.5, L3 and L4 – the “Factor Selection” menu item has been updated to “Factor Grading.” While only L2 users are allowed to grade Factors, this area of the site allows all of those user levels to view the current grades for each factor, so we felt this verbiage helps find and view the compliance grades a bit more easily.

Stay tuned for additional enhancements in the coming weeks!

It’s hard to believe that we are in the second half of 2018!

As mentioned earlier in the newsletter, we are asking for your feedback on ComplySight (and our other League InfoSight products) via our 2018 League InfoSight User Survey. We would love to hear from you! Please let us know what you love about the system and what you would like us to work on next! As we always try to convey, your feedback is what drives our enhancements.

Are you taking advantage of the Complaint Management module? I’m always surprised when I’m talking to our credit unions and they haven’t taken a look or didn’t know about the ability to log and track complaints! Want to know more about it? Access our video tutorials on the “Training and Support” page within ComplySight or send us an e-mail.

While we would love to start making changes within ComplySight as a result of S.2155 being passed, we don’t want to put the cart ahead of the horse. We need the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection, BCFP, (formerly the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau or CFPB) to interpret the change in laws and make associated amendments to their Regulations. That doesn’t mean that we haven’t been spending time reviewing and anticipating these changes, so please feel free to reach out to us if you have questions on how these changes will be implemented.

As always, thank you for being a part of our ComplySight village!
